The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor's office has not taken any measures to withdraw the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, ICC deputy prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan said.

“We have taken no steps to try and withdraw any of those arrest warrant applications or the arrest warrants  themselves,” Khan told CNN, responding to a question about the progress of the case against Israeli politicians amid US sanctions.

Khan noted that the ICC prosecutor's “team continues to investigate in that situation.”

“We make implications for arrest warrants on the basis of the law and the evidence. So, any attempt to suggest that we have some other ulterior motive or that staff members have some other agenda is something that we completely reject,” she added.
