North Korea's General Directorate of Rocketry has successfully tested a new weapon that is of paramount importance in the development of weapons system technology, reports the Korean Central News Agency.

As per the report, these tests did not have any negative impact on the security of neighboring countries.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un watched the progress of these tests.

Kim called this test an undoubted demonstration of state-of-the-art technical potential in the defense sector and emphasized that it is an invincible force in the true sense of the word.
