Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday met with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission of the European Union (EU), in New York.

The two parties discussed the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda, the Armenian PM’s office informs. The premier highlighted the importance of EU's support for Armenia's economic diversification process and the decisions made to that end.

Also, Pashinyan emphasized the EU's support for the effective implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia. Ursula von der Leyen, for her part, noted that the EU will continue to support the advancement of the Armenian government's programs and the development of cooperation across various sectors.

In addition, the interlocutors addressed matters of regional significance.
