Warm greetings from Syunik, where Ambassador Eva Sundquist, together with fellow EU Ambassadors, is visiting Armenia’s southernmost region to see first-hand projects that are creating new opportunities and perspectives for people living in border communities. The Embassy of Sweden in Armenia noted this on Facebook and, also, posted a respective photo.

“It's a pleasure to see how cooperation and investment are contributing to the development of the region and its communities,” the statement adds.

The Embassy of Germany in Armenia also posted a statement on Facebook, noting: “Warm greetings from the gates of [Armenia’s] Syunik [Province], where at an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level there is sunny weather and a temperature of 18 degrees [Celsius].”

Partners of the Resilient Syunik Team Europe Initiative on Tuesday visited the projects being implemented with the support of the European Union (EU), France, and the Netherlands in Armenia, as well as the TUMO center in Kapan, where they joined the youth to get familiarized with the Greenopolis game, which contributes to raising awareness about environmental issues.
