Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: On September 24, another serviceman died in Sisian [town]. According to preliminary information, an argument occurred between the servicemen, then a hand grenade exploded. The deceased was a contract serviceman since 2022.

According to our information, the argument occurred in connection with financial issues that arose between the soldiers. Our source in the army claims that after the incident, all military personnel were required to sweepingly present how much loan each one has, which, in fact, becomes the cause of such tragedies.

However, this demand has caused great dissatisfaction among the military personnel. They believe that the ministry of defense [(MoD) of Armenia] has no right to interfere in their personal lives and demand information containing financial secrets.
