Yerevan Municipality has been instructed not to publish videos showing Mount Ararat, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned.

And in the event of such videos, various departments are instructed to remove them and publish new videos where Mount Ararat is not visible.

Earlier, Armenian authorities removed the image of Mount Ararat from the stamp placed on passports when entering and leaving Armenia.

Also, in the new Armenian passport sample, Khor Virap monastery of Armenia is depicted from such a position that Mount Ararat is not visible.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has on a regular basis spoken about the fact that the mountain of Armenia is Mount Aragats, and there is a picture of Mount Aragats on the wall in one of the halls of the premier’s residence.

Mount Ararat is located in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey.
