Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has called on Armenia not to leave the common market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
“[Armenia] should not rush to throw away what is beneficial to you today. There is no need to leave this [EAEU] common market,” Lukashenko said, addressing Armenia, at the meeting with heads of government delegations participating in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk. “I ask you not to rush to leave it. Nowhere, believe me as a long-time president, I have been working for almost 30 years, they are not waiting for us anywhere.”
