Iranian military forces have forced US Navy ships to move nearly 1,000 km away from Iranian coast, said the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, Ali Fadavi, Press TV reports.

“The Americans fled and moved more than 1,000 km away from our borders. It was not their choice, it happened due to the might of the Islamic Republic and the strength of the IRGC ground forces,” Fadavi told Press TV.

He announced that for the first time, there are no American ships left in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, or even the northern Indian Ocean. At the same time, he noted that US warships are “100% vulnerable” to missile attacks by the IRGC.

Fadavi’s statement comes amid the ongoing strict naval blockade of Iranian ports by the US Navy.
