The government of Armenia has earmarked 38.1 million drams (more than $105,000) for holding a cultural event within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) summit. The respective decision was made at the government’s Cabinet session Thursday.
A gala concert, with the participation of cultural ensembles from CIS member states, will be held within the framework of the CIS summit being held in Turkmenistan from Tuesday to Friday, and Armenia will perform with two separate pavilions in this gala concert.
The aforesaid decision will ensure a full presentation of Armenian traditions, song and dance, folk art, and national cuisine.
