YEREVAN. – There were suggestions, within Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party, to not accept the parliamentary mandates. But these were just views, Heritage member Styopa Safaryan said during a press conference on Thursday.

In his words, the media publications concerning Heritage’s internal party happenings are inaccurate, and the answers to all the questions will be given during the Party’s special congress to be convened on June 2.  

Safaryan noted that he accepts the fact that he will not be in the next Parliament, and added that he will not be sad for not being there and will be happy that his party will be in the Parliament. 

Also, Styopa Safaryan informed that, prior to the Party congress, its board will hold a session and they will decide on whether or not attending the new Parliament’s first session, which will be convened on May 31.
