US President Donald Trump has said he may meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in November.

When asked by reporters at the White House whether he planned to meet with the North Korean leader during his upcoming trip to Asia, Trump replied: "Maybe."

He added: "That meeting would be very interesting, wouldn't it? But I have a good relationship with him."

The American leader plans to attend the 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Summit (APEC) to be held from on November 18 and 19 in Shenzhen, China.
