There should be no enclaves and exclaves on either side of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a press briefing Thursday, as he commented on his recent statement on the matter.

“I feel that both in Armenia and Azerbaijan the perception that an appropriate solution needs to be found is becoming clearer,” Pashinyan said.

However, as the Armenian premier noted, it will not be possible to exchange territories without border delimitation.

“We need to know the real surface area of the territory of Artsvashen [village]. This will enable us to properly resolve the issue,” the Armenian prime minister added.

According to him, Armenia has entered the final phase of institutionalizing peace.
