YEREVAN. – People’s Power public-political initiative came up with a statement where it is stated that it is ready to continue the fight as a part of Armenian National Congress (ANC).

“1. The parliamentary elections of 2012 in Armenia were conducted in frauds, violations and mass corruption through which the ruling party was able to provide enough mandates for it and for its appendix party.

2. The illegal and unfair elections were supported by Armenia’s Central Electoral Committee.

3. The current situation proves that the main aim of ANC’s declaration which is restoring constitutional order and forming legal government through the elections was not fulfilled.

4. Based on the following, the People’s Power public-political initiative reaffirms its commitment to fight for the establishment of constitutional order and building a free, democratic, legal, and prosperous state of civil society in the ranks of ANC,” the statement reads.
