Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan on Friday met with Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli on the sidelines of the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The opportunities arising from the establishment of direct trade between Armenia and Turkey were discussed, the Ministry of Economy of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, parties reflected on the procedures for the transportation and transit of goods subject to sanitary and veterinary inspection.

In addition, they exchanged views on several other matters of mutual interest related to the economic agenda.
