Armenian Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan met with Huang Runqiu, China’s Minister of Ecology and Environment. Matevosyan announced the meeting on his Facebook page.

The two ministers discussed the priorities of the COP17 agenda, emphasizing the importance of assessing progress in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and intensifying joint efforts to achieve the targets set for 2030.

They also discussed opportunities to expand Armenian-Chinese cooperation in environmental protection, Matevosyan wrote.
