Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a delegation led by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, who has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
First, an official welcoming ceremony was held, during which the national anthems of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were played, and then the leaders of the two countries greeted the members of their delegations.
Next, Pashinyan and Japarov held a meeting in a narrow format, after which the leaders of the two countries continued their discussions in an expanded format.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a wide range of matters on the further development and expansion of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. The implementation of consistent steps towards deepening trade and economic ties was emphasized, too.
Also, views were exchanged on regional processes; in particular, the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as measures aimed at unblocking regional communication routes and promoting connectivity.
