YEREVAN. – U.S. dollar’s exchange rate continued to go up at Nasdaq OMX Armenia stock exchange on Friday. On average, sales were on AMD 407.2 per $1. However, the dollar’s rate went down due to an intervention by the Central Bank of Armenia and sales totaled $12.88 million.

The rate has not changed significantly in the cash market. Buys and sells are above the usual level, which testifies to the uncertainty of the market.

As of Friday, exchange offices buy dollar at the rate of AMD404 - AMD405 and sell at AMD409 - AMD410.
