YEREVAN. – Armenia yields only to the Baltic States among former Soviet republics on Structural and Institutional Change Indicators and is ahead of the CIS and Caucasus states, Central Bank of Armenia reports based on the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) data.

To note, the earlier, 2011 index was based on the 2010 data. According to the EBRD, at that time Armenia registered no structural and intuitional progress. On the contrary, the index deteriorated by 0.10 points. The EBRD experts believe it was conditioned by the fact that Armenia undertook some administrative regulations regarding prices on basic products.
