550 cats became the reason of divorce in Israel, as the husband did not wish to live at the same place with so many cats.
The divorce hearings were proceeding in the Rabbinical Court in Beersheba this week.
The husband claimed that the cats prevented him from eating and sleeping, The Times of Israel reports.
The couple attempted reconciliation at the behest of the rabbinical court. The wife, however, was unable to leave her cats and preferred to leave her husband.
