Lilit Stepanyan has been appointed as governor of Armenia’s Kotayk Province. The decision was made at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.
Earlier, Stepanyan had resigned from her position as an MP of the ruling majority “Civil Contract” Faction of the National Assembly.
And before being elected to parliament, Stepanyan had served as mayor of Hrazdan city.
