The text of Armenia’s Declaration of Independence is anti-state, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a press briefing on Thursday.

Pashinyan explained this by saying that according to it, “it is impossible to have an independent state.”

“This text is about the impossibility of having a state. We must learn lessons from our history,” the Armenian premier emphasized.

“The world order is collapsing, and we were able to establish peace in these conditions,” he added.

According to Pashinyan, the rejection of the ideology enshrined in Armenia’s Declaration of Independence has nothing to do with Azerbaijan or any other external entity.

“It stems from the interests of Armenia,” he added.
