Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by Johannes Luchner, Deputy Director General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission of the European Union (EU).

The deputy premier highlighted the Armenia-EU visa liberalization process as an important direction for expanding contacts, mobility, and ties between Armenian citizens and EU countries, the government of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The parties noted the progress recorded in the implementation of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization action plan.

The interlocutors touched also upon the improvement of the migration management system, including the prevention of irregular migration, as well as the improvement of return and readmission procedures, and the work being carried out in integrated border management.
