Democrats are projected to win the battle for control of the US Senate, securing at least 51 of the upper chamber’s 100 seats in the midterm elections, Bloomberg reported on November 4.
According to the agency’s projected seat distribution map, Democrats could win 51 seats, giving them control of the 100-member Senate.
Republicans currently hold 39 seats.
