YEREVAN. – In 2012, the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund will carry out a project of building community centers in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, the Fund’s Executive Director Ara Vardanyan told news reporters during a briefing on Wednesday. 

In his words, these centers will be constructed in the villages, and they will comprise village prefect offices, medical facilities, libraries, event halls, and computer rooms. 

Vardanyan noted that, in 2011, the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund conducted water supply projects in three cities and twelve villages in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, and this project is still continuing in several villages. He expressed a hope that the number of villages receiving water supply assistance would reach twenty.    

To note, 21st session of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund Board of Trustees was held Wednesday at Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, during which Ara Vardanyan was reelected Executive Director of the Fund.
