YEREVAN. – Wednesday is the second consecutive day, in Armenia’s financial market, when the US dollar’s exchange rate is losing ground against the Armenian dram (AMD).
Its average exchange rate comprised AMD 405.64/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and this is a 0.16-percent—or a 0.67-point—drop from the previous trading session on Tuesday.
The total sales were $4.5 million.
And the exchange rate is stabilizing in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The country’s exchange offices buy the dollar primarily at AMD 404-405/$1 and sell at AMD 407-408/$1.
