YEREVAN.- Armenian civilian was wounded on Armenian-Azerbaijani border by a bullet from the Azerbaijani positions on Friday morning.

Police received a call saying resident of Nerkin Karmrakhbyur village Vachik Melkumyan (born in 1960) was hospitalized with a thigh wound, police told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The investigators arrived at the site to find out that Melkumyan was wounded by a bullet from Azerbaijani positions while working in the vineyard. A forensic examination has been appointed.
