YEREVAN. – The first session of the Armenia – EU cooperation subcommittee took place in Yerevan. The subcommittee covers social, politics, health, education, culture, information community, sciences and technology spheres. From the Armenian side Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karine Harutyunyan was leading the session, from the European side head of the European group negotiating with the South Caucasus countries on association agreements Cesare De Montis.

The European side presented new cooperation possibilities in the framework of bilateral and multilateral programs. Erasmus Mundus and Jean Monet education programs were presented during the session. Several other issues were also discussed.
