YEREVAN.- Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan received on Friday the delegation headed by EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort.

They discussed the issues related to settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The sides underscored importance of continuation of peace talks to resolve the conflict.

They also touched upon the Armenian-Turkish relations. Arthur Baghdasaryan stressed that Armenia will continue to display a constructive approach in this regard.   The sides pointed out contacts between the regional states in international agencies which will provide for efficient solution to the existing problems.

The EU and Armenian officials also discussed regional and international problems. Head of the EU delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea was present at the meeting.
