Moldօva’s capital city will host the first informal summit of the Eastern Partnership (EP) on Tuesday. The European Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS) have put forward such an initiative in May.

The meeting will discuss results of the reforms in the member-states after the EP summit in Warsaw, possible cooperation and reinforcing a dialogue on the threshold of the EP 2013 summit, PANORAMA reports.

The meeting is expected to feature the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Štefan Füle, as well as Foreign Ministers of the member states, including Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus and Azerbaijan.

Organizers believe that the unofficial meeting can serve a good platform for dialogues between the EP and EU states.
