BRUSSELS. – Armenia PM, vice-chairman of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Tigran Sargsyan met with the president of the European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens in Brussels on Monday.

The sides praised high the cooperation between the RPA and the EPP, Government informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The PM stressed that the Armenian authorities are interested and decisive in removing electoral flaws, which were observed during the May 6 parliamentary elections, by 2013.

Sargsyan and Martens touched upon the process of Armenia’s integration in European institutions and Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as reforms realized in Armenia.

To note, the RPA controls majority sits in the new Armenian Parliament.
