SOZOPOL. – Bulgarian archeologists discovered the skeletons of two ‘vampires’ in Sozopol, Bulgaria, Bulgarian Focus Agency reports.

As the director of the Bulgarian National History Museum Bojidar Dimitrov informed, during the excavation of graves belonging to the XIII-XIV century, the remains of 70 people were discovered, two of which were pierced by iron stakes. Nothing else was discovered, however the director thinks that the remains belong to honorable people.

The fact that two of the skeletons were pierced by iron poles proves that they were considered to be vampires.
