YEREVAN. – Tigran Sargsyan’s reappointment as Armenia’s Premier will not have any substantial impact on the country’s economic and political system, former Central Bank Chairman Bagrat Asatryan stated during a press conference on Wednesday.

“I consider it normal that Tigran Sargsyan is [re]appointed PM, but this will not change the quality of politics,” said Asatryan.

In his words, the reason behind Armenia’s economic misfortunes is the political system which is formed in the past four years.

“Because of this system, 50,000 people left the country last year, and 50,000 [more people] will leave this year,” Bagrat Asatryan predicted.
