YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) comprised AMD 417.96/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday, and this is a 0.29-percent—or a 1.22-point—drop from the previous trading session on June 22.
To note, most Armenian analysts forecast a weakening dollar in the country for July and August, and due to the agricultural product season and an increase in the number of tourists.
The total sales were $2.45 million.
And Armenia’s exchange offices have reduced the US currency’s purchase exchange rate all the way to AMD 417/$1, and it is sold at AMD 419/$1.
