YEREVAN. – The Constitutional Court (CC) has considered the appeal of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc MP Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday and left the decision of No. 7 precinct election commission unchanged. According to the decision, ruling Republican Party of Armenia candidate Samvel Alexanyan was elected an MP. 

The CC decision is valid from the moment of its publication.

To note, Pashinyan argued over the election committee decision and asked the CC to cancel it and recognize him the elected MP. According to the precinct’s data, Alexanyan has been elected as an MP with 19,808 votes, while Pashinyan got 9,437 votes.
