YEREVAN.- A delegation headed by Speaker of the Federation Council, Russia’s upper house of parliament, Valentina Matviyenko will arrive on an official visit to Armenia on Wednesday.

During her visit, Matviyenko will hold meetings with Armenian Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, a source close to the parliament told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The source said she will also meet with other high ranking officials.

Last meeting of Valentina Matviyenko with Armenian official took place in 2011. She met with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan during his state visit to Russia last October.
