A 15-year-old girl has become the world’s youngest mayor. Bashaer Orman is appointed head of municipality of Allar district of Tulkarm town in the West Bank of the Jordan River.  

The appointment of teenager has become possible due to the program launched by the local authorities. They goal is to involve young people in political life.

Otman was allowed to manage the city for two months. The girls will be responsible for all decisions related to the municipality and will sign official documents with the exception of financial ones, Lief News reports.
