The draft resolution of UN Security Council gives the Syrian government 10 days to cease hostilities. Otherwise, the document at the disposal of AFP says, there economic and/or diplomatic sanctions will be introduced against the Syrian government.

The voting at the UN Security Council on the draft resolution is planned no later than on July 20. Discussion of this document and the draft resolution on Syria proposed by Russia will begin on Thursday, July 12, Lenta.ru reports.

The authors of the draft resolution are the United States, UK, Germany and France.
