YEREVAN.- Overwhelming majority of Armenia’s citizens are committed to peace, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said at a joint press conference with OSCE head Lamberto Zannier in Yerevan. 

Commenting on the remark how Armenia plans to implement co-chairs calls on preparing society to peace, Armenian FM said Yerevan, unlike Baku, is not making warlike statements. Armenia, unlike Azerbaijan, is not constantly speaking about increase in military budget and is not declining proposals of the world community, he said. 

“Armenia shares the position of the international community which was reflected in the statements of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” Nalbandian said once again recalling the recent statement made in Los Cabos. 

The world community stated clearly the use of force will not lead to the settlement, while new cases of use of force will be condemned strictly. 

There is difference between the approaches of Armenia and Azerbaijan and it leads to a situation when Azerbaijani society is committed to war, FM concluded.
