YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) comprised AMD 411.6/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday, and this is a 0.42-percent—or a 1.75-point—fall from the previous trading session on Wednesday.

So, the US currency has lost value in Armenia by virtually AMD 7.5 in the past one week. 

And the total sales were $5.4 million. 

The dollar continues to rapidly lose ground in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, too. On Thursday, the exchange offices dropped the American currency’s buying exchange rate all the way to AMD 409-410/$1, as compared with Wednesday’s AMD 412/$1, and the selling is conducted at AMD 413/$1, as compared with Wednesday’s AMD 414/$1.
