YEREVAN.- Chilean director José Luis Torres Leiv is not a new comer at the Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Armenia.

First time he presented a documentary at the festival several years ago, festival program director Mikayel Stamboltsyan told reporters n Thursday.

This year Leiv is presenting Summertime included in “Feature Films” program. The director himself says he shot a personal and autobiographic movie about his childhood when he lived with his grandparents.

“My film is made of recollections, emotions and atmosphere of tranquility,” Leiv explained.

Chilean director said he used a non-professional camera to convey plainness and spontaneity of emotions.

First screening of Summertime took place at the Venice Film Festival in 2011.
