Vigen Vardanyan (born in 1967), a resident of Goghtanik village of the Vayots Dzor Region, was taken to hospital, at around 11:30am, as a result of being bit by a snake, Emergency Situations Ministry press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Doctors say Vardanyan is in satisfactory condition.
Another report on snake detection was received at 1:55pm. Residents of a capital city
An operative rescue squad and a snake specialist were dispatched to the scene.
But no snake was found in the area.
