YEREVAN. – A citizen applied to Armenia’s Police, on Friday at around 12am, and informed that his brother, Sahak Hovhannisyan (born in 1977), had gone missing, the Emergency Situations Ministry press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He is believed to have fallen into a canal nearby a capital city Yerevan district. A special rescue squad and an operative team are dispatched to the scene.

Another unusual incident occurred in Yerevan, as an uninhabited wooden shack was burned down with the entire property. Two firefighting squads were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was extinguished at around 4:43.  

Also, information was received on Thursday evening that a tree had fallen on a BMW at a downtown Yerevan avenue.  “Landscape Gardening” Company workers were dispatched to the scene. They cut the tree with a chainsaw, but the vehicle’s front-view window was broken.
