YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Thursday received Iran’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Mohammad Reisi.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador, in connection with commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, and wished him success in developing Armenian-Iranian ties, MOD press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

During the meeting, the parties discussed the Armenian-Iranian cooperation, regional matters, and conflict settlement issues.

Iranian- Armenian cooperation has been recently discussed during the mutual visits of the officials from both countries. The last Iranian official to visit Armenia was Minister of Interior Mostafa Mohammad Najjar.
