YEREVAN. – Four representatives from Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will conduct an observation mission during the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s (NKR) presidential elections, CEC Press Secretary Hermine Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

CEC members Silva Markosyan and Georgi Martirosyan, CEC Chief of Staff Levon Grigoryan, and Deputy Chief of Staff Gevorg Petrosyan will head to the NKR for this mission.  

To note, three non-party affiliate candidates are running in the NKR presidential elections. They are: Incumbent NKR President Bako Sahakyan, Deputy Director Arkadi Soghomonyan of Academic Activities at the NKR capital Stepanakert Branch of State Agrarian University of Armenia, and NKR National Assembly MP Vitali Balasanyan.

The NKR presidential elections will be held on Thursday, from 8am to 8pm, and the results will announced on Sunday.
