make preferableYEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Ms. Hermine Naghdalyan on Wednesday received Chinese Ambassador Tian Changchun.
Naghdalyan noted that she appreciates Ambassador Changchun’s efforts toward deepening Armenian-Chinese ties and cooperation. In her words, developing relations with China is a priority of Armenia’s foreign policy.
In his turn, Tian Changchun noted that Hermine Naghdalyan is a proof as to how women can assume high positions in politics. Also, he expressed a wish to enhance contacts between the women’s NGOs of both countries. And saluting this idea, Armenia’s NA Deputy Speaker extended an invitation to China’s actively engaged women.
The interlocutors also reflected on the need to improve Armenian-Chinese ties.
Hermine Naghdalyan underscored that senior officials from the two countries are paying mutual visits more often and that interparliamentary and intra-party relations are developing dynamically.
And speaking about cooperation in the sphere of education, the parties confirmed that more number of youth in Armenia are interested in receiving education in China, and in Chinese culture and language.
