YEREVAN. – No trading was conducted Wednesday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and, as a result, there were uncertain expectations around the US dollar’s exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD).      

On Wednesday, the American currency was demanded at the stock exchange at Tuesday’s rate, that is, at AMD 411.5/$1, but the offering rate did not fall below AMD 412.45/$1.        

And there were no substantial exchange rate changes at Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The exchange offices buy the dollar at AMD 410-411/$1 and sell it at AMD 413-414/$1.
