YEREVAN. – Armenian drams’ (AMD) strengthening phase seems to have ended in Armenia’s financial market.  

Just like on Wednesday, no trading was conducted at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday as well. Nonetheless, the US dollar’s exchange rate against the dram tends to rise.  

The American currency was demanded at the stock exchange at AMD 412.25/$1, but no offer was made at that rate. 

And there are signs of overall stabilization in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The exchange offices buy the dollar at a maximum of AMD 411.5/$1 and sell it primarily at AMD 413.5-414/$1.
