YEREVAN.- Incidents when civilians are wounded in the territory of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of fire from Azerbaijani side is not something new, spokesperson for Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He said the incidents as a result of which civilians are wounded by the Azerbaijani side will not remain unpunished and will get an adequate response.

“Unlike Azerbaijani armed forces, Armenian soldiers never choose civilians as a target,” he emphasized.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, an Armenian villager was wounded on Saturday while carrying out agricultural work and as a result of the fire shot by an Azerbaijani military base.
