YEREVAN. – Over the first half of 2012, 21 small enterprises received loans of AMD1.3 billion under Loan Guarantees Provision program, said the Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan at a press conference Monday. 

The Minister mentioned that 93.5% of loans have been granted to SMEs in Armenia’s regions and 6.5% to those in Yerevan.

State support to small and medium entrepreneurship in the country is performed by SME Development National Center of Armenia. The support is provided through implementation of annual SME State Support Programs with resources allocated from State budget.
