Armenia’s Chargé d’Affaires in Spain, Khoren Terteryan, recently met with Spanish Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida. 

They discussed the prospects for developing parliamentary ties between the two countries and other matters of bilateral interest. 

Terteryan also informed Duran i Lleida that the Armenia-Spain friendship group is being formed in Armenia’s National Assembly.  

They also exchanged views on Armenia-EU relations. In this connection, Armenia’s Chargé d’Affaires presented the course of Armenia’s ongoing reforms toward integration with the European family. Welcoming Armenia’s progress in European integration, Duran i Lleida stressed Spain’s readiness to assist Armenia in that direction.

And upon the Spanish MP’s request, Khoren Terteryan introduced the primary directions of Armenia’s foreign policy.
